Employment for Skill Development is a new system replacing the Technical Intern Training Program, scheduled to begin in April 2027.
As a result, there aren’t many job openings at the moment, but the job roles are expected to primarily cover the same fields as the previous Technical Intern Training Program.

1. Factory/Manufacturing

・Assembling parts
・Machine-based processing
・Inspection and packaging
These jobs primarily involve performing the same tasks with care and precision.

2. Construction
・Carrying materials
・Assisting with concrete work
・Supporting interior construction
You’ll acquire technical skills while engaging in physical labor.

3. Nursing Care
・Assisting with meals and bathing
・Helping with mobility
・Providing supervision
You can learn specialized knowledge and Japanese while working.

4. Agriculture
・Harvesting vegetables and fruits
・Sorting and packing
・Maintenance work in greenhouses
Job duties may vary depending on the season.

[Japanese Language Proficiency Guidelines]
The target proficiency level upon arrival is N4. You’ll learn Japanese while working, with the goal of reaching the N3 level in the future.
